I've been a huge fan of Sean Tyler since his first Bronco Bash.

My 14-year old last week said "It seems like last year Tyler was more like Bellamy, and this year he's a little more like Bogan." I think he's right on!

Yes we have incredible talent in Moore and Eskridge and Eleby, etc...

But Tyler is stepping into a REALLY proud tradition of WMU RB's. Great game last night. Incredible yards per touch for him. Keep it up!!!
Tyler seems to have gained a ton more patience this season... letting his holes develop rather than trying to speed into a mass of bodies... and it's working. Some of his runs last night seemed like he was going to go nowhere and off of a sudden he's 8 yards down field.

Agreed. Watching the game I thought Tyler looked much bigger than last year. Bogan like but faster with true break away speed. Too noticed that he allowed his blockers to open the hole being patient and disciplined then bursting through. Showed he can catch it being a dual threat.

Tyler was a legitimate threat in the passing game, especially since Toledo decided it wasn't worth covering him. Kudos to Eleby for finding him so many times (consecutively lol) and kudos to him for getting out of bounds as often as possible. I'd love to see him worked into the passing game more now that we know he can reliably catch it in high pressure situations.
Eleby in my opinion is a much more controlled passer than Wassink was... he seems to maintain poise in the pocket under pressure while still delivering accurate throws down field. He also has great touch on short outlet passes to the RB’s... making it easier for them to make the grab.

This right here. I was cautiously optimistic regarding his (Eleby's) poise and leadership. Arm strength was never as issue. But wow what a player. Excited to see him carve up the Chips. And Tyler runs like a big back now. He'd just as soon run you over as dance around you. Very impressed.
