Fulkerson and Pons wouldn't even start for us.
They certainly gave credence to 4 year players, though they did emphasize this was not based on NBA Draft prospect range.
Cisse was #10 out of the 11 Frosh. Probably why Fulkerson and Pons were in there. I know Penny really respects Pons' game.

I know fans glorify offense but Pons being SEC DPOY is why he is so high. His defense is amazing and he isn't an offensive liability anymore.

I was a doubter of Fulkerson for a long time...But he just seems like he continues to put up numbers...No tremendous plays...Just solid.
Nolley @ 33 shows many analysts have a ton of respect for him...I would have thought him and DJ would be close to equal.

I think DJ ends up being more important to us than Landers this year.
Nolley is a little better ballhandler, DJ is a little more athletic. The difference between the two is that Nolley isn't going to disappear in games. He's not going to go long periods without putting shots up. Hopefully, DJ becomes more assertive.
Most D1 players make the most improvement between their freshman and sophmore seasons. We could have a really good team.

Usually freshmen ranked around where theirs are take a little time to adjust to college basketball. Boogie for example. Very few freshmen excel their first year.
