Schlee had to go and ruin my prediction!

Join me each game for a moment of silence and mute the announcers to honor Ty Linder!
Those announcers are horrible. It reminds me of the late Bob Prince and Nellie King doing a Pittsburgh Pirates game on the radio with the Pirates way down. Sometimes it was hard to tell a baseball game was being played. Fortunately, we had the video for this game.

Yeah, but did you know that cereal is basically a breakfast food—though you can eat it anytime, and that deli turkey is for lunch sandwiches? It’s not for supper, dammit!

Well, now you do thanks to them.
Axeme, I shouldn't have hit the mute ao early! I could have learned so much about food!

Sure glad that someone else remembers Bob Prince. I quit being a Pirate fan when they fired him. Started listening to him when he was Rosey Rose well’s color man.
ksur1, I loved listening to the Old Gunner (Bob Prince) and also the Celtic's play-by-play radio man Johnny Most. And Gib Shanley of the Brown, too. And I, too, Miss Ty Linder/
Nice display of offense in what was poor weather at times. Crum had a few throws he would like back as he overthrew some open receivers a few times, but all in all a very good game and now on to demolishing the community college down the road.
Hey, the guy who was Ty’s color man for the last few years is doing a nice job on the streaming. Go to Tune in. You can pause the tv to sync the play by play. Muskrat, correct spelling on Rosy’s last name was Rowswell. Google him, he was quite a character himself.

I agree that Rob has stepped up, but still no Ty Linder
Thank, Ksur1. I'll check that out next game. I remember Rowswell some. he died when I was 9, right about the time my youngest brother was born. It seemed like that when I was young radio reception was better and I used to listen to all the fairly local ones and others around the nation when they were on 50,000 watt stations. I listened to Harry Caray sometimes when he was with the St. Louis Cardinals I especially loved the way Gib Shanley called the Browns game. He didn't use an excess of words. "Ryan back to pass. Collins. Touchdown Browns."
Honestly, I didn't think we looked that great. We just played an awful team. The penalties need to be cleaned up. Crum was overthrowing receivers on would be TD's, and I thought our blocking was pretty bad. Defensively, in the first half, I thought if were playing a capable team we would have given up a lot of points. Great to be 2-0 and another win is on the horizon, but we have a lot of work to do if we want to beat UB, MU, or OU.
Would be interested in seeing an updated injury report. The OL appeared to sustain some injuries. Sams was back, but got injured & did not return, at least from what I saw. The announcing team did not seem interested reporting this.

The overthrows def were disappointing, but it sounded like the wind played a big role last night. So far through two games though he and McKoy have failed to connect several times on deep balls where McKoy was open. Last year they were automatic, so hopefully that gets straightened out.
nice having trickett back :)

as dannyb73 & anti-zip were saying.. i didn't like the overthrows. too many.. last week & this week (esp this week.)
hopefully, that will be rectified (expect it will be.)

any predictions on who will be plating the MAC championship game? KSU vs....
is there an automatic slot (bowl game) for the championship game winner? loser? or is it up in the air? thx
