I will go look it up but how many of our conf mates have medical schools? There's some smoke about ODU merging with EVMS again. It's been talked about a few times but the state shot it down last time because I think some law makers who were W&M grads didn't want it to be ODU. But, ODU and EVMS are a stones throw away from each other and already partner for programs of study.

Do you know if a medical schools is weighted in to these rankings?

Not sure how many of our universities have medical schools... I think UAB and FIU do, but beyond that, I have no clue.

North Texas has the same problem ODU has. UNT has a pharmacy school, but the state won't approve us for a medical school. The University of Texas doesn't want the competition. So, North Texas is partnering with TCU to start a joint medical school.

UNT system has a medical school in Fort Worth, it would be redundant to have one in Denton.
