I see what you did there. VT continues to grow stronger as the season progresses, but that's not likely to be the case with Pitt. Unfortunately, the Hokies played UNC early, when so many DBs were still out (I won't use that excuse for Wake - the Deacs played well, the Hokies played and coached poorly).

Back to Pitt: the season was going nowhere anyway, so might as well give the young Panthers lots of playing time at this point...
Louisville had a player do the same thing.

Geathers wasn't getting the playing time he thought he deserved. Reading between the lines in Satterfield addressing this, it's probably best for both parties.

Not sure why he's leaving now ... maybe to get a head start in finding a new school. It's a bonus year for everyone, so not a bad thing for the players at least, regarding their eligibility.
