We have had a good to great stretch the past couple of years, looks like some of our fans have gotten a little spoiled or suffer from Ricky Bobby syndrome.

New coach/ 1st time coach, limited practice/ offense’s tops playmakers opting out, only 1 OL starter returning to same position as last year.....this is very much a rebuilding year whether anyone wants to acknowledge it or not. Offense was supposed to be a strength, but even with White back at QB, we only have 2 starters retuning at their position ( him & EZee), last years starting guards have moved to tackle & center & new guards have limited experience & our run game appears impacted now that team has been scouted.

I still trust the process & will enjoy the success and look for growth as we have lots of young guys getting snaps right now.

I'm with you but I have one point to make, we are in game 6, the center ought to be able to hike the ball above Brady's shoelaces by now.

I know what you mean bro. Freaking ridiculous.
Well, 2 more top rated recruits decide to reopen their recruitment....players decide to opt out of the season....is that smoke I see?

Is it possible that players don't want to play for this coaching staff? Time will tell...

Unless we are alleging that Gainwell and Coxie left BECAUSE of RS and would have played but not for RS, then I dunno the issue.

This team would have been so damned good with Kenny and Damonte. I understand the defense is sucky, but the offense would have been tremendous.

maybe or they see they can transfer this season without sitting a year. NO idea on the recruits. Did they commit to our current staff or the last one?

Current staff, but that doesn’t mean anyone stopped recruiting them. They both held offers from ten P5 schools. In basketball, other coaches will typically back off when a player commits. In football, many coaches will amp up their efforts when a player commits elsewhere. Who knows.
I am not a big fan of the new coach so far, but you can't assess anyone on what happens this year.

That goes for players too.

And the basketball season.
Maybe he didn't make the stickers big enough !

Well there is at least some smoke between Coxie and RS. But Gainwell, nah.

Recruits decommit from Memphis fb all the time, unfortunately. They did to Fuente and to Norvell, and the will to RS. It's the nature of being G5.

It is never good to lose recruits, but it is infinitely better losing them when your class is ranked in the high 30's instead of the high 60's. Players come and go. We are going to get our share. The bar keeps getting set higher and higher.

Who is he?
Well, Kory Gainwell (Kenneth's brother) enters the transfer portal.

Probably best for him. Don’t think he would ever get much PT here.

Unless I'm mistaken, this is the first coaching staff in UofM/MSU history to bring politics and social concerns to the forefront using Memphis Tiger Athletics as a platform. Applause to CRS for taking Tiger Athletics, previously only providing entertainment and enjoyment, to new ground. We have linked in with a politically based, marxist organization.

So regardless of how bad the on-field product is, CRS has done SO much for this team, the university and our city (a city that probably hasn't had enough people stir this pot).

Why stop at every single sporting event? Hopefully, they will loosen restrictions on telemarketers and make it legal for anyone to call you 24 hours a day to interrupt whatever you are doing, whenever they feel like it, and whenever they decide that a teaching moment is needed.
