Tulsa - Oswaldo Gonzalez is back with the TU basketball team after the NCAA reinstated him.
Gonzalez was ruled ineligible by the NCAA pending a ruling on his prior athletic competition. Gonzalez played organized basketball in his home country of Venezuela before enrolling at Jacksonville (TX) Community College.
Gonzalez will have one remaining year of eligibility and has decided to sit out the remainder of the 2003-04 season and play for the Golden Hurricane next year.
Gonzalez averaged ten points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists for Jacksonville a year ago. He also averaged nearly two blocked shots per game.
