Anybody notice the addition of light blue to some LU uniforms?
The mens basketball uni has that small light blue spot on the side. I was noticing last night at the hockey game their jerseys are outlined in light blue.
I kinda like it. I know our official colors are red, white, navy blue. But I like the little light blue highlight.

Light blue is actually one of LU's colors. Sttangley, a light gray is also a color. We just only saw the main colors but there's more. That's why I wouldn't mind a light blue alternative uniform for our sports teams along with a light gray and navy blue. They should establish a gold, green and white uniform for football during the 50th anniversary of the program (2023 season I believe).
Interesting. Went to the marketing website and saw the Official School Colors are

- Athletics Grey
- Charcoal Grey

That is interesting. I thought the school colors were red, white, and blue.

That is interesting. I thought the school colors were red, white, and blue.
Not really excited about the uniform reveal for the game against WCU.
Blue helmets with American Flag decal, blue jerseys, white pants.
I was pretty happy we had the same helmet decal all season long. I think it makes the program more recognizable. I like our LU. It’s distinctive. I don’t mind thenhelmet color change, but I like keeping our decal the same.
I watched a number of Louisville games this fall and they were a mess. You never knew what they were gonna come out of the locker room dressed as. I never want to see that for Liberty. I like that we have the same red, white, and blue uniform pieces each week.

I will say that having one game a year with a different uni would be a nice change of pace, but I agree that keeping it consistent otherwise is best for both the fans & the team.
So... we wore a different uniform combo each week. But it didn’t really feel like it. I think it’s because we stick with our three school colors and don’t add in all the black and gray and chrome that others do.

We could actually add a sky blue and gray uniform as alternatives. These colors were part of our school colors. Of course the red white and navy blue is the dominant colors. It would be cool to have those other combos that I mentioned along with a green, yellow and white jersey in respect of the origins of the program. Nonetheless that's just a possibility that I do not see happening haha.

Imagine the Tennessee Titans helmet with the flames a little more widespread and the LU logo on it..... thoughts?
We could use the same colors since they are our official school colors.
I really like our current helmet design. Clean, clear, and distinct. Anything like the one above would be a once a year type of thing.
I kinda dig the light blue sneakers that match the light blue flash on our basketball uniforms.
