Opening line LA Tech -1, now -1.5.

Not disparaging UTSA here, but Marshalls defense was the best we will see all year and I look forward to something a little more flexible. That being said, its going to be a great game!

Thread title needs an update. Game was changed last Monday to 7:00 PM CT on ESPNU.

Another week of not knowing if our offense will show up actually prepared to play a football game or if we'll just bring more excuses.

Just like us not knowing which QB will play. QB1 looks like he is made out of glass (not knocking him down or anything, he is just susceptible to injuries) QB2 and QB3 are both out with season ending injuries, QB4 is out for a non disclosed reason, so more than likely, you’ll get to see QB5... so frustrating

Well, I can't comment on how effective your QB5 will be (and who carries five QBs anyway? Well, UTSA does, apparently.) and so maybe the Runners will struggle to score. But I do know if your DE1s (2) and DE2s (2) are ready, we won't score too much either. Our QBs (1, 2, or 3) will be on their backs most of the night.

If all this comes to pass, then my initial thought of first team to 24 wins, will have to be lowered to 17.

This game could potentially set offensive football back 50 years.

LA Tech 7 (on a pick-6) - UTSA ? (whatever they can muster)

Tech will get stuffed for a -2 yard loss on UTSA's 6-inch line trying to run the ball in from shotgun formation. After the game Holtz will (again) blame the negative rush on the players without mention of the truly stupid formation he put them in.

I though UTSA had a real shot in this game, but with their QB out, it looks like LT should take this one in San Antonio. I'll be watching this one for sure.

Starting QB Harris is back, but then freshman Sapien will have to come in in the second quarter when Harris goes out again with an injury.

If you haven't been paying attention, this game could be the most important of the season for both teams. With possibly only 5 slots available for the bowl season. I firmly believe the top two in the division are guaranteed a spot. I believe that at this point UAB is the best in the West based on the eye test and UTSA & Tech are battling for second. The loser of this game could see a lot darker bowl picture regardless of how many games they are able to win afterwards.

I cant wait until the Thug U vs U Punch thread ramps up!

Does this actually give UTSA a chance at actually picking up a W against Tech for a change then

This should be a good game as I think UTSA is improving and we aren't very good this year at all

This is UTSA's best chance at a win vs La Tech in a while. But injuries and inconsistent play at QB may prove again to be our downfall.

Yeah... I'm not sold on Harris' health either. I'll still take LA Tech in this one. But than again, I'm 3-4 on picks this week, so I don't know squat.
