Both are at home and Saban is directing practice from home. His ability to be present for the game with Georgia is undecided.
man the whole SEC is a mess right now.
Just rushed to Bovada to put $ on Georgia.
I had Georgia before this piece of news and now I still have Georgia
It was gonna happen sooner or later. Wonder how they will pull off the coaching for the game of the year against Georgia?
I think both of these men are in good health? Saban is 68 but appears very healthy. Best of luck to them both in getting healthy and back to work.

Get well soon, Nick!

NO, not even close. Florida's issue seems to be related to spread during flight.

Saban could have been exposed anywhere as well as the A.D. and they might have one exposed the other.

The issue at Vanderbilt was the mess, but they have poor protocol management and a bizarre chain of command for dealing with matters.

L.S.U. is fine, Missouri is fine, and Ole Miss and Texas A&M are fine.

At the end of the 4th week we will have had 2 games postponed until December out of 40.

It is hyperbolic to call it a mess and it is unrealistic to believe that any conference was going to play without some cases.

It's called life and the number of incidences are probably still lower than on the street.

No it's a mess. This is the most important game on Bama's schedule and they will not have their HOF coach on the sideline. But it was an expected mess!

A mess for Alabama was not mentioned. Stever called it a mess for the SEC. There's a gulf of difference between the two. And for Alabama 1 positive case (even Saban) is not a mess. And the A.D. isn't directly involved with the team. I'm curious if Byrne got it from outside meetings and passed it to Saban, or vice versa.

It's only a mess for Bammer fans because they playing the Dawgs in Tuscaloosa.
Saban tested negative today and is awaiting results of a third test. If also negative, he will be tested again tomorrow and if negative that time too, he will be clear to be on the sidelines. Per Paul Finebaum Show.

LoL. ... truth is, the college football season has been a smashing success thus far. Two months ago nobody expected that so many games would come off.

I am very grateful to the teams playing the past 5 weeks. Eagerly looking forward to tomorrow's great slate!
If everyone had just started on time, but kept the end of season at December 19 to account for makeups, everyone would’ve played 11 games.

Agree. Nice to lift some of the 2020 darkness with college football, the NFL, and the MLB playoffs. Go ‘Stros!

I lived in Tampa for 13 years so the Rays are my second team (after the Orioles) but I fear that Boston 2004 will happen again. Epic collapse.

That said, it won't bother me too much if the Astros prevail. IMO, you guys have caught WAY too much flak for the 2017 cheating scandal. So you stole signs? Big deal, that's been happening since the 1800s. When I was playing Little League, I was taught it was MY job as a pitcher/catcher to protect my signs and that it was fair game for the other team to try and steal them. Some sports have a "culture of cheating", LOL, as in the old NASCAR saying "if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying". IMO baseball has always been that way too. Pitchers try to scuff balls and apply ointments, hitters cork bats and use pine tar and both have taken steroids and uppers, etc.. Yes, if you get caught, you take your personal lumps and penalties (so I have zero problem with keeping steroid users out of the HoF), but that never negates a team's victory.

The only difference here is that you guys used cameras to do it and that's supposed to make it 1000x times worse? I just don't buy it. IMO, you won the WS fair and square.

Well, some conferences had foresight.

But anyway, it will be great to see you kick off next week.

Game Day just reported that Saban also tested negative on Friday and has had a another test done this Saturday morning. That result will be available sometimes this afternoon, if it is negative, he can join the team on the sidelines for the game.

In my admittedly biased opinion, I agree. Stealing signs is as old as the game itself.
