Not so fast... THE UConn basketball was none existing or better yet awful while in the AAC too.
They made a tourney or two and finished in the middle of the pack typically. USF is objectively worse despite their single CBI run. They haven't been to an NIT since 2010 and haven't seen an NCAA since 2012

Just curious as to UH’s record vs UCONN during the AAC years. You’ll probably need to consult with Coach P here. Did you own them like SMU did?
UH’s contribution to the AAC is not in question in any revenue sport. And you can tack on men’s track and field to boot.
The OP was comparing USF (whose biggest accomplishment in the AAC is two .500 P5 wins in the Birmingham bowl) to UConn who had 1 men’s national championship and several women’s national championships in basketball. It’s no question UConn, even with lousy football was a relevant school.
Smu IN THEIR BEST YEAR lost in the round of 64. Then was ineligible as a result of fraud and ethics violations
And what’s even more laughable, in your best football season since the death penalty, where you finally beat TCU after a million tries, you lose to Memphis and then lose to FAU in a weed eater bowl.
Smu also has contributed less than UConn. Neither USF or SMU should compare themselves to UConn. Go win something and prove me wrong.
So, with so many colors for USF are they next Hulk? I mean ...Hulk is green but there was Red Hulk and Blue Hulk...but I digress...

There ought to be an award like the turnover chain that has a medallion with a Huskie head on it. IT would be given at the end of the season to the team that best personified the spirit of UCONN football for that season.

Track it by UCONN's last conference victory.
Tulsa was the last conference win UCONN had, It came in 2017. Tulsa didn't beat another conference team until 2018 where it beat first UCONN and then SMU. SMU then beats USF in 2019, who goes on to beat UCONN and then... East Carolina. Now ECU has beaten USF and it goes back to them.
