Is this a system thing where HCAK goes away from point guard, 2-guard, etc. and uses “ball handlers”? I know Dick LeBeau was famous for moving guys around so much in his system you could hardly say “defensive linemen” because the players would drop back to LB level in a 2-point stance multiple times in one game.

But seriously, having taller combo guards in the back court has been a trend for a while. Harder to press and one guy doesn't get worn out bringing it up against pressure. Also lets you match up better defensively.
