It’s early but Shocker baseball continues to look good for this year. Not only should improvement continue this coming spring, recruiting is looking good for future years.

This years pitching staff should be a strength and is talented. Everyone is returning and they have added several talented arms.

Good publicity is a by product of the new coaching staffs early success last spring even though the season ended prematurely because of the pandemic with the Shox in the Top 25 rankings. At an early fall practice, 20+ professional scouts appeared. In addition, d1 baseball magazine did a fall story on the status of the program under Eric Wedge.

Good we need you guys to return to prominence. College Baseball is still growing but arguably the most underrated product in sports today. While college hoops talent is diminished by the draft, college baseball talent had increased. I am happy to report ecu should be loaded this year and for years to come. We have the perfect coach for us.
Astros owning the playoffs as always. Can't catch a break with the injuries though. Greinke's out for todays game. Still think we win this series but we're probably going down in the ALCS. 2021's just going to depend on who's healthy.

Oh wait... is this supposed to be about college baseball?

Some college baseball news happening in the fall. Lots of Scouts attending a fall practice and a national magazine doing a story because of positives is exciting to some college baseball fans.

Also, East Carolina fans are always excited about their baseball team. As for Cougar fans, it is appropriate to be excited about the Astros.

Honestly its hard to remember who alls on the roster because of the cancelled season. Supposedly we're bringing in a talented recruiting class. The university paper had an article that claimed it was #24 in the nation but I have no idea what recruiting service they were citing, so take it with a grain of salt.

I mean he won't really have to do anything. We aren't the same team as last year because of the injuries to Verlander and Greinke and losing Cole in FA. I'm just enjoying seeing the guys playing with pride and shutting up some of the haters. Especially Oakland ******* can't stand them.
