It's impressive that Coastal Carolina is sitting just 10 spots outside of the Top 25.

Whoever wins next week's battle between Coastal/Louisiana is going to get a nice bump in voter points.

I can’t complain, I mean, look at some of the programs behind us... it’s an honor. Of course... Arkansas? Ok, that one’s an insult, lol.

But I would fully expect, if we manage to beat the Cajuns next week, we’d jump into at least #25, as the (at the moment) best in the Sun Belt.
#23 in the AP poll, too (with Coastal also hanging 10 spots out of the Top 25):

This is awesome!
Good for the Cajuns. Congrats.
Good job Louisiana. You got back without even playing. Reputation ranking is a good thing. For the SBC anyway. Aggravating for the P5 schools.
I got the feeling that Iowa St's win vs OU, who every "analyst" thought the world of going into the season, got them back into the Top 25; and then since Louisiana beat Iowa St pretty convincingly at their place, many voters probably felt that you couldn't put Iowa St back in the Top 25 without also including the Cajuns. So ISU's win vs OU legitimized the Cajuns to the voters, if that makes any sense.
Question is... can the Cajuns stop this Coastal Carolina team that's tearing through everybody?
Considering the Cajuns don't have Blake Anderson for a head coach or David Duggan as their defensive coordinator I'm pretty sure they'll fare much better than stAte.

Coastal has been very impressive offensively while the Cajuns haven't hit their stride yet offensively. I'm hoping it's a good game.
