That sucks. That was one of the better games on too.
Wow.. huge hit for the conference matchups.

App fans... Hate Week here start's when Southern's game is complete.
So wait. Cajuns have to play in Boone in December now? Where’s Mark Hudspeth when you need him?
Word that GS game may be in doubt as well. Certainly hope it all clears up soon.
Yall are making me just find a bunch of GIFs of people being sick for my weekly post
What's this do to the Cajun's ranking? Oh wait...

(I really hate those guys who rank teams that have never played a damned game)

Ya'lls whole team about to be quarantined for 2 weeks?
So App gets more time for GS and gets to play the Cajuns in the snow?

Assuming everyone on the team is OK, seems like it will work out better for you guys.

seems unfair after we had to play with 8 starters out but oh well
ULL Fans all over twitter saying App State is "ducking" a team they've beaten 8 times in a row LMAOOO.

But really, if you were an admin at App, how could you not postpone this game? Last week we had DL playing OL, DBs playing WR. We are not two-deep at the moment, so we aren't even allowed to play.

League rules aside, a student just died, the campus overall is seeing a massive spike in cases, people want in-person classes canceled, etc.

We can't even practice. How are we supposed to play a football game this weekend?

And lets be real. If this happened to ULLLLLLLL a week before arguably the biggest conference game of the season, they would move the game too.

Do you hear how childish you sound using words like "unfair" in the middle of a pandemic? We played with 22 down last week - presumably we have more people out this week.

You didn't cancel because you knew you could beat GS with your players out. Do you think if your opponent was the preseason favorite to win the conference you would have played without 3 all conference players? Give me a damn break man. Its a football game in the middle of a pandemic. Get a damn grip.

Understand, but it’s looking like all football operations are shutting down for a while.
You know.....we could move our game to Saturday if that would give you enough time to get ready.....

How long is a while? Sounds like yall could end up missing a big chunk of the season.

Any talks about sending the kids home for online classes?
Usually this virus is not hard on young people. Did the young man who died have other problems? I hate to hear that and the outbreak y'all are experiencing.

it was a conference opponent who beat a top 25 team on the road last year GS was not slouch

We're also dealing with an extremely strict health department that is pushing the limits on enforcement. For example, they linked our 3 positives (2 had subsequent negative tests) last week to a group in August over a month before so they could determine it a cluster. This meant no parents were allowed in even though State guidelines would have allowed them. They also applied contact tracing to players that met the standards for not being part of contact tracing as defined by their own rules.

So basically we never know what we're going to get from them which has everyone on edge.

And I guess the recent death of the student isn't helping things.

Nothing has been released publicly, but I have heard there are some details being left out. Not that he did anything wrong, but saying he was perfectly healthy is misleading. Still it's extremely sad.
