Team photos are up on the roster page.

Interestingly, pretty much every player from last season is listed 1-2 inches shorter this year than last. I guess covid had more of an effect than I thought. :) Exception is Lockett who is listed 1 inch taller. Man if those new heights are real, this is a really, really short team - e.g. Morgan-Elliott is now listed as 5'9. Most of the freshmen are listed as shorter than the media reports I remember seeing coming in. Bolser though does look a legit 6'4 in the picture.

Although, from those standing in the photo, it looks like Colon is taller than Mikonowicz and maybe about the same height as Idowu, although she is listed as shorter than both.
it's that new metric system.
Team captains announced: Lockett, Wiard and Morgan-Elliott. More evidence of the team youth with 3 sophomores as captains. A little surprised Davis is not one.

Davis has never been a favorite of Coach Cullop's.

After Bosler, the two tallest players are a guard and someone who doesn't play much. This team may have only three players six foot or taller.
3 sophomores named team captains...not sure how telling that is of the current state of the program. Sure we may have a bright future with them, but it's concerning there's seemingly no veteran leadership on the team.
Competition Breeds Success for Toledo Women’s Basketball Player

Story on Mariah Copeland. I have no idea why UT can't even put her name in the title. Looks like when they copied this article over to the athletic site, they at least added her name there.
Again young, but promising. I like this team. Decent depth and good scorers. I bet we compete for the West pretty hard.
Colon is standing on her tippy-toes (that's why she looks taller)

I bet we don't.

Agree. Nothing about this team excites me. Time for a change.

Team lost five of top seven scorers from last year including two of their best who did not stay around for their senior years. Hard for me to see how that leaves us with a team prepared to be a factor in the championship race.
It just seems like this program has been spinning its wheels for the last several years... The status quo is unacceptable for any of the Rocket sports teams... 03-banghead
Hope it picks up soon, at least for TC and co.

Well we did knock off CMU on our way to a semi final a year ago. Didnt even get a chance to prove anyone wrong
I think we are good. We shall see.

The worrisome observation is that the five players who have left the team and were primary contributors to the CMU win represented 60% of minutes and 61% of points last year.

Correct, plus the fact that, despite the two great wins over Central, we were not good last year.
If I'm the Toledo AD, every time I hire a head coach, I tell them how long they will get to win a MAC title and how often they need to win after that to keep their job. No confusion about whether a coach will be retained.
Might shrink the application pool. Or is that a fairly normal demand?
I believe ,if the MBB and FB programs were performing at the same level as WBB, most posters on this board would be calling for change.
