They'll get more money from me when I see the hire. If they f* up like they have so many times before, they won't get a dime. If they grow some and try to make a difference then I'll support it.

Maybe they'll get a better hire if they have more money to work with from you/me/us over the course of the next few months. Which is why it's refreshing to see so many people re-upping EC/tix right now.
Getting rid of Hop was a good sign that Jeremy seems to know what the hell he's doing, which is something that's been lacking in previous AD's...

yes that was clearly a he's one of us hires. We don't need any of those this time. My gut says this is a minority hire. I don't care what race the guy is as long as he can recruit and win though .
I’ve been renewing tickets for 18 years and they don’t even ask me anymore about EC because that comes straight out of my bank account every month. At this point, stomping away in a huff and cutting them off would honestly take too much effort on my part.

I wouldn't say Southern Miss is slowly disconnecting due to political correctness. I'd say it's disconnecting at warp speed. When the news came out that the "Dixie Chicks" were dropping Dixie from their name, and "Dixie Beer" was being discontinued, and "Dixie Highway" in South Florida was being renamed the "Harriet Tubman Highway", I figured it was just a matter of time before the Dixie Darlings name would be equated with the KKK and banished.
The whole SJW movement and cancel culture has become a cancer in this country. So if I want to enjoy sports I have to believe that Colin Kaepernick is a hero, that the BLM and Antifa riots are a positive for social change, that our law enforcement officers should be viewed with disdain, and the United States flag is a symbol of oppression...and then I will be considered worthy of watching professional and college sports. I think I'll pass.
