Actually Steve, I agree 100%. I don't think that we have had so many players who can go off offensively and actually take over a game. Morgan, Montero, Binelli and James have already displayed the ability to do so. Groce, our most physically gifted player is in his final year, usually one's best. Lowder comes with a very impressive resume' and McBride, Pacheco and Gibson offer some hope as well.

No stars on this team like Ray Lee, Elijah Minnie or JT4, obviously a situation that Murph does not handle well.
Hopefully we can make free throws this year.
This arguably might be the deepest team in recent memory! We literally can play 10 kids easily! No superstars! Nothing like my era of Neely, Kennedy, Thomas, etc, but this team is deeper! [/align]
I don't know if I forgot to mention, but there is a proposal for all schools to make the tourney this year.

Of all things last year it was encouraging to see the team play like a team, different players stepped up at different times. Toure of course was a huge loss. There aren't as many newcomers to get into the mix this year as last year. If we play this winter we should be very competitive.
You wanna know why the big Murphy critic all of a sudden wants him around for two more years? It's simple, there is a correct time to make a change and that time is not now. He has not been successful, but he is hardly an embarrassment.

Of course we could follow the path of our sister University in Kalamazoo, hire Mondro as head coach at half the price, and have a dumpster fire on our hands.

This is NOT where I want to be, give Murph his 20 win one year extension and at the end of the 2022 season, we can make a qualified decision on the future.
I am surprised about the silence on hiring Harvey

Honestly I think Cline would make a good coach here.

Guess we'll hear what the NCAA has to say about hoops this winter.
