I think we made a good decision. This season is a cluster. So many unknowns.

In case there is some confusion about this social media experiment, my hypothesis is that a statement in support of the BLM movement would be perfectly welcome on this (or any ODU-related) forum. A statement critical of BLM will not.

If you are a football player, your freedom to speak freely is dependent upon whether your views are politically acceptable.

I saw somewhere that there has to be a certain no of players available for different types of roles in the rotation and if they come up short in any of those categories they can't play the game. I don't recall exactly where but something like at least 7 line backers, 6 receivers, 4 db's etc. I can't recall where i saw and what that conference was but may be ACC has a version of theirs too.

If a football player, for instance, put “Blue Lives Matter” on his helmet, would that be okay with everyone? I bet not.

Normally, you've got some pretty well thought-out arguments. That pile of **** was weak-sauce, through and through. "Proof? Oh, trust me, the proof is there; I'm not lowering myself to go and find it, however".

Secondly, the combination strawman/false dichotomy (straw dichotomy?) wherein you start with 'the admin is actively suppressing student-athlete tweets because they're not PC' and end up with 'let's see if my post on a message board not connected to ODU or its admin gets reported because its not PC' is frankly amazing.
