One foot out, you do the hookie pokie and you turn yourself around.

That my friend is what it is all about.
Repent, the end is near!
I imagine there will be grown men reduced to tears at the sight of that logo.
Never thought I'd see the day...

Indeed I will!!!! That logo will vanish from the field permanently in 2021, I'm sure.

And then a permanent postseason ban for not joining a conference full-time.

Wow, how douchey they are.
What happens if ND is in the ACC Championship playing for a spot in the playoffs or Orange Bowl instead of the Pinstripe Bowl.
I bet there are quite a few fans who would like to keep that logo next year.
There was a time when I thought Notre Dame was as likely to have an ACC logo on its field as App State was.

Welcome to 2020.

I think the Vatican would have something to say about that. 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 05-stirthepot 05-stirthepot Seriously though desperate times call for desperate measures.
Though their is nothing desperate about the current ND / ACC agreement it does show that some good can come of a bad situation (the pandemic) if people do work together. 07-coffee3 04-cheers

It was in the playoffs in 2018 as a football independent.

Conference membership did not mean anything at all then.

ND has its own contract with the Orange Bowl.
Was that logo put on with permanent ink?

Velcro.

Its Field Turf.
ACC membership makes so much sense for ND—exposure through the whole east Coast, old rivals, fellow private schools, plus its a conference where they’d be competing for a spot in the CCG every year.
