Russell Wilson lit is up when we were down there but that was a fun place to attend a football game. Lots of great sun dresses at the tailgate too.

I was at that game with my wife. Did you happen by the UC Alumni tent? It was a nice stadium and great college football atmosphere. Wish the Cats played better but at least we beat them at the Nip the following year.

I was not. Have some crazy stories going out after the game that night though. Good times in Raleigh.

Did you patron a Gentlemen's Club?
Around our league:

ND 52 USF 0 The Irish look good? Or did USF start it's annual swoon early?
OKS 16 Tulsa 7 The HuriCanes led 7-3 going into the 4th
UCF 49 GT 21 Knights went to the Big A and put a big hurt on GT who beat FSU last week
SMU 65 NTSU 35
Navy 27 Tulane 24 The Middies down 24-0 scored 27 unanswered in 2nd half.

Elsewhere of note:

Marshall 17 APSU 7 That ends APSU's NY6 threat.
Miami 47 UL 34 Hard to root for either team.

USF is probably the worst team in the league this year. They stunk last year as well. They had a nice little run under Willie Taggart but I think UCF’s rise along with other programs feasting on FL talent has killed the Bulls recruiting.

Regarding USF, I agree. And the schedule sets up nicely out of the gate for UC to start conference play at home against the Bulls to get off to a strong start. It will be interesting to see if UC remains undefeated until B10 play begins, how the polls handle the 'Cats and other AAC teams. Presumably, some teams will win and drop out of the polls the following week as winless teams get more votes. Yet another anomaly of 2020.

Will Houston get to play enough games? Dayum.

Quote:At this rate, Houston won't play a football game until 2021.

The Cougers' home game against North Texas, scheduled for Saturday, has been canceled because of positive tests within the Mean Green program. According to a release, four positive tests were discovered this week and are in isolation while their close contacts have been identified. As such, contact tracing of those positive tests left North Texas unable to field a team for a game this week.

"We knew that there would be challenges with COVID-19 this season and we were taking precautions to hopefully avoid this situation," North Texas athletic director Wren Baker said. "Our student-athlete health and safety is the priority in every decision we make and that is what this difficult decision is based on. We are hopeful we can resume safe activities soon."

The two sides are looking for a makeup date that will accommodate each team.

This is now the fourth different opener and fifth different game to have been postponed or canceled for Houston. The Cougars were previously scheduled to play Rice, Washington State, Memphis and Baylor. The Baylor game was postponed less than 24 hours before kickoff, less than one week after it was originally scheduled.

It seems that UMass has belatedly decided to play this season... Maybe Houston should give them a call.
How many times can you play the same team in one season?

Liberty and NMSU played twice last year.
UCF has 7 false starts and one delay of game penalties in 1st quarter against ECU.
Game currently 7-7.

One of the sloppiest games I've witnessed.
I'm going to say it. UCF does not look good.

I agree but it's a small sample size thus far. I can see them going up big in the second half. FWIW, the GT team they blasted is losing big to 0-2 Syracuse.

A ton of penalties combined with a ton of drops.

UCF now up 20-7 and driving again.

Now 27-7

point is they should be up by much more. 7 false starts before they can get 7 offensive plays off to start the game. Dropped passes that should have been catches. Sounds/looks a lot like UC last year.
