Full Version: What Happened To The Campus Newspaper?

If you go the the Collegian website the latest issue is April,2019. It was supposed to revert to a University supported paper a few years ago, but I never see copies on campus. Did Covid kill it?

I used to pick up copies at Savage but maybe a year or so since I’ve noticed them.

Thanks. The link I had (looked the same) took me to an April 19 paper. This paper has an August date, but the stories are from February. Probably shut down.

went out of business in Spring 2019, UT budgets resulted in no financial support, they could not raise enough revenue in ads to make it work, was I believe in their 100th year of publication??
I think all the online stories are by students enrolled in writing classes in Communication, once last March hit with COVID and moving everyone online and off campus, stories ended; perhaps will start up again in fall term as those students in those classes back writing stories for IC?
