If they're concerned about players & coaches, they will.

I honestly wouldn't bet on it unless Government steps in.
Big Ten could be the next conference to cancel football:

We'll see.
I'm seeing more Tweets like that. Getting the feeling it's over for everyone.

Which is huge with regard to the portal looming over the G5.

Thanks a lot, NIU!
Following Pat Forde on Twitter...sounds like announcements could be coming over the next few days. Just read an article about multiple St. Louis Cardinals baseball players needing to make ER visits due to their COVID symptoms after their team outbreak and the Boston Red Sox Pitcher (Eduardo Rodriguez) getting shut down for the year due to the impact of the disease on his heart. Freddy Freeman, Darren Woodson (51 year-old former Dallas Cowboy)...seeing all of these articles about athletes really struggling with the disease. Can college administrators take the risk with so-called “amateurs” athletes? If they do decide to play on[/i], expect decent sized numbers of players to opt out. Such a weird illness. Some experience basically nothing and some really struggle. Oh well...I guess we’ll know what’s up this week.

Just did @dpshow and Dan dropped this info, from his sources: the Big Ten vote is 12-2 to postpone. Nebraska and Iowa want to play.

The players who entered the transfer portal in 2018 and sat out 2019-20... extra ouch.

Jayden Reed will have gone December 2018 through August 2021 without playing a snap of football.

A "Bird" in hand...
Trying to feel as bad as I can for the kid. He had it going on here. Nearly 3 years without playing is tough.

You've probably already felt the shock waves, but Huge is reporting the BIG 10 is done for the season.

They are now saying the PAC 10 is going to follow suit with both conferences (BIG10/PAC10) making it official tomorrow.
WOOD radio reporting it's a done deal
Dan Patrick aired this at 9 am.

Big Ten vote was 12-2 to postpone the season. Nebraska and Iowa voted to play.

Commissioner Warren is in favor of a spring season.
Graham Couch reporting Big Ten officials meeting tonight at 6:00 pm to discuss and hold a formal vote. Could DJT’s college football tweet cause them to reconsider???

For those wondering, he retweeted Trevor Lawrence, who has been very vocal the last few days in favor of playing football.

A lot of players are speaking out. I saw one Ohio State player demanding they join the SEC...

I just saw that Frost is saying that if BIG10 cancels the season they will look for other options.. insinuating a move to another conference who is going to play football...

I hear other coaches in the BIG10 are thinking the same... what is wrong with these coaches. It seemed that every coach in the MAC took the news with confidence in the voting parties and albeit disappointed they supported the conference and the safety of the student athletes came first.
