I still won't believe it until I see both teams step onto the same field at the same time on the same date with unis on.

...and all it took was just a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic.
Well, its on now! No more excuses or conjecture. Its all gonna be on the field boys! How Bout Dem Dawgs!!!

In all honesty, it makes sense given the circumstances. My wife, grandparents and a good many of my relatives are NLU grads. Its gonna make the season a lot more entertaining. Best of health to you all.

Ok, 2020 may actually be the apocalypse.
On that day we are all War Hawks.

Cajun fans can root for the meteor if they want to, just like I would if it were a ULL-Tech game instead.
Now if we could only get a game in the Dome with the Cajuns......

In all honesty, I'll be shocked if college football games are still being played by then. I hope I'm wrong and that we do indeed get to play.

Well the game is after November 3rd, so the pandemic will probably be over then. 05-stirthepot
Glad to see this game added to our schedule. ULM really stepped to help us out after the tornado - classy move by the Warhawks!

I hope the game gets played, generates lots of local interest and is successful for both schools.
The ice has been broken, now maybe the schools will get this figured out. Annual game in Shreveport, split ticket sales 50/50, Shreveport gets another game for that stadium, gets people in the area talking about both teams, include that game in your season ticket package, everyone wins.

CUSA and the SBC sets up nicely for cross conference rivalries. USA/USM, Troy/UAb, ULM/LaTech, TxSt/UTSA, App/UNCC.
Kind of wild this series never happens in the first place.
ULM has had just one positive COVID case that I'm aware of and that was almost a month ago. However, over in Ruston:

Unfortunately, I think we only have a couple more days to talk about this. Hopefully it still broke the ice and this game becomes reality even after this missed season. I like the idea of y’all playing in Shreveport, it’s a great idea for everyone. This game ever really happens and it will the the talk of north Louisiana.

Unfortunately I agree with you and you're right...this did break the ice.
