Thank you.

I don't mind. Just put OT to the side. We've played them several times over the past few years and they pop in from time to time.
What did the other 50 threads about Liberty have to do with the Sun Belt?
Never understood how black athletes could stand being associated with Liberty.

I've never understood how some think they know how others should feel. Never mind ones color.

Did you even read the article? The athletes themselves said it based on their experience.
I didn’t care to read the article because their all the same. Only two players of substance left. I know what they are referring to but I’m curious if anyone here knows what post they are talking about? Jr never thinks about what he post but he was just pointing out racist things the governor of VA did. It seemed more like an excuse to get out that no one would judge. Clark went to UofL after being a low 2 star. I’m someone that’s all for the athletes so good for them and I hope it works out. This article is still misleading, we will be fine.

Usually either realignment, future scheduling with Liberty, should we play them during pandemic, etc.

What would you say the reason is behind him starting this thread? And please don't say for general discussion. It's a liberal publisher writing an article about a religious institution. That's about as unbiased a source as Breitbart writing an article about fill-in-the-blank liberal agenda.

This post was made to stir the pot.

Okay
A lot of players get to college and they've had their backs patted all throughout high school and never really had a coach that challenged them to get better and got in their face when they made mistakes they always got away with. Sometimes coaches can be jerks too. It's inevitable that some are going to attribute that to racism and not just a college coach being a college coach.

I have my issues with Liberty, but the OP article is just a once-good commentary website getting in a pot shot.

I just appreciate that someone reads Slate.com.
Many enjoy reading news sources that confirm bias.

Further:

Think and Verify Wrote:I recently re-read The Righteous Mind: Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion, by Jonathan Haidt. If you haven’t read it, I’d highly recommend that you do. In the book, the author spends a lot of time laying out his arguments in a certain way, so I won’t spoil a lot of them here. But one of his conclusions (backed by scientific studies described in the book) is that when people want to believe something they ask,” Can I believe this?” When they don’t want to believe something, they ask “Must I believe this?”

Since the human mind is expert at finding reasons and rationalizations, the answer to the first is almost always yes, while the answer to the second is almost always no. People have strong built in confirmatory biases. They are adept at finding “evidence” that agrees will their preformed conclusions.

They're going to leave more schools in lieu of hbcu's if the movement keeps the trend. I'd love to see it considering the thoughts on rushing these kids onto the field when they shouldn't be playing on here and most other forums. The hbcu's and a couple of others are the only ones that actually put their athletes safety in front of the paycheck. I hope the trend continues.

I never understood how they'd be willing to attend half the schools in the south. I'd go to Liberty before Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU or any of these other southern schools that were anti black. It literally turns my stomach to see black kids wear an Ole Miss or an Alabama jersey.
