Had the pleasure of following Jamie throughout his career here in Detroit on WDFN, 97.1 and Fox2 and met him through a family connection. Truly an intelligent, down-to-earth and overall great guy that will be sorely missed. We all need to take his advice and take colon cancer screening seriously. RIP Jamie.

The man was brave beyond reproach. At deaths doorstep he makes the diagnosis public and advises everybody to get screened. Jamie, you’re going to be a tough act to follow. May the Lord bless you and your family.
Read an article awhile back that said the incidences of Colon Cancer in Americans under 50 were on the rise.
