And we don’t have practice uniforms?

Wait-what, two posts in one day? Social media department's ears must have been burnin'! All wearing the same t-shirt would suffice.
WAC Fall Sports have been canned the day after volleyball started practice.
Well, it looks the WAC will only have a conference basketball schedule only (maybe); with all games in the fall semester being cancelled (before January). Hopefully, the NCAA will see fit to push the NCAA Tournament back toward the end of the spring semester; allowing for some OOC games to be played. But we will see.

Not doubting that MBB/WBB delay to January is very likely, but is it official? The way our local paper reported it, the cancellation was sports designated as fall sports, not sporting events that happen in the fall. They were saying basketball was (for now) pushed to end of October, which isn't much of delay at all.

That is my understanding as well. Basketball pushed to October and then reevaluated. Basketball is a winter sport, not a fall sport. Plus why couldn't OOC games still be played? I have not read anything that said Conference only.

Currently, only Dixie State and Tarleton State have failed to put out their official 2020-21 men's basketball rosters. The other seven WAC schools have their rosters on their respective school athletics sites.

Is it more like the other seven are ahead of normal, rather than Dixie and Tarleton being behind? In the past UTRGV sometimes didn't get theirs up until well after Fall classes started. Thought the early posting of three rosters this year was an attempt to get spirits up and build confidence that MBB/WBB/WVB were going to happen. Except that the confidence was misplaced for WVB.

With the effects this virus has had on (recruiting) travel, I think coaches were moving a little bit quicker to assemble their rosters before.

Tarleton State is now starting to putting out basketball tweets.

We may be getting closer to some basketball info. The volleyball roster was posted today and BCG has an updated photo on the coaches page. School starts Thursday so maybe basketball rosters soon.

Well we really didn’t get any new info. BCG mentioned 10 new players and 4-5 walk ons. Casey said there are three returners. No names of players were mentioned.
