Expecting many NFL ready MAC players to transfer this season.

Let's say the season doesn't happen at all. I wonder if we'll all see a massive exodus into the portal (since everyone is "sitting out" a year anyhow, why not?).

I think someone like Poljian would simply enter the draft.

First Mike Danna, now Poljan. Those are two lost NFL draft picks for CMU. Really hard break for the Chips and certainly a disturbing trend in today's college football world. Where is the loyalty with these young men and their families? I don't get it. None of those schools that they're grad-transferring to gave a **** about them out of high school. They lose out on a career legacy for 1 freaking year at a P5...forget these dudes!

EXACTLY! Phuck those dudes! Don't bother returning for homecoming!

NIU has had two defensive line starters transfer to Iowa, starting RB transfer to Charlotte, starting TE transfer to USF, and a backup QB transfer to Temple (he was a Carey recruit). Marcus Childers, who had 2.5 years of starting QB experience and one season of eligibility remaining, quit football. Then a bunch of other backups transferred out to lower level programs.

In fairness to Poljian, CMU TE transfers have a decent history behind them.
