hot seat next year big time. There appears to be more than a few people who want his head now. If Tulsa doesn't start out next year really good, I have to believe the outcry may be so loud he can't even finish the season, which is never good for a team!! I look at next years team and think it can't be that terrible. Teich has become a darn good rebounder, our only consistent one, and from practice reports, Gonzo, controls the boards there, which may not be saying a lot against other Tulsa players, but better than we have out there now. Glenn is a good rebounder when he wants to be and he may want to more when he's the senior leader. I've seen McDade play and he is the real deal and I think he can make a more than adequate PG, along with being a tremendous scoring threat. If Collins and Kelley are turned loose, they can score on anyone!! Cardwell should be getting his game back with off season workouts and be a great replacement for Teich, Gonzo or Price. Price is the hard one to pin down. He is our only true inside threat, that we know of now and seems to be getting better at that. His problem is, he is a very inconsistant rebounder. To stay out of foul trouble he maybe avoiding some rebounding contact, but our two big men HAVE to be rebounders big time, not occassionally!!! Ramsdell will surely put on some weight to help him on defense and rebounding, but I like his potential. He's fairly aggressive but just doesn't have the weight to be that effective yet. I know I'm saying this mainly about a team that is, what now, 7-13 but I just can't see these guys being that bad next year!!! If they are bad next year, by the end of the season, I may be the one saying make the call to Bobby Knights son, so we at least get some pub, while we are rebuiding!!
Excellent post, Jon, and pretty accurate from what I've seen.

I just wish everyone would take the longer-term view like you do. With coaches, players and recruits reading the trash over on "the other side", it just can't help us get through what is obviously a rebuilding year.

Again, Jon, thanks for a super post.
good post, I stand behind JP and I think he may want to make some changes to his staff...
