After a bunch of negatives, they had one player test positive, and they got bounced. The player who tested positive tested negative 2 times in the 2 days prior. Then he tested positive. Then he tested negative 2 more times. He has no symptoms and they think it was a false positive. But it's done now.

Yeah, a week or so ago I read an article about a dr sending in 100 blank tests, just to test the testing... out of those 100 over 40 came back positives.
Y'all getting played. Period.

This is why testing matters etc. After 6 weeks of death declines we are rolling back up. In April people looked ahead thinking the distancing and masks would help slow this. It did. Then impatience set in way too quickly

We are seeing the same stories out of Houston and Miami hospitals now that we saw from NY hospitals in April. It is almost as though DeSantis and Abbott has their heads up their asses. Looks like Abbott pulled his out, just a little late

Florida has been over reporting positive cases. By county they are saying 94% of the people they are testing are positive when they moved the decimal point. It should have been reported the actual figure is 9.4%. Other counties are giving the same false result just a slight difference in the percentage. Things like this is why a most people don't trust what's being reported. Florida says it was a computer glitch. Sounds like it would have to be a bunch of computer glitches. Young and healthy players should be fine.
Do you know how many people in Shelby County under the age of 27 have died from COVID? ZERO. The average age of death due to COVID-19 in Shelby County is 74 years old. Of the people that died, 75% had the comorbidity of an underlying cardiac condition. Fatality rate 1.5%.

Unless the players announce it themselves, you'll never know due to HIPAA regulations.

People want to believe what they want to believe.

There are always going to be conspiracy theorists.

Some people believe the earth is flat.

There's more motivation in my county to lie the stats down...so all businesses don't get closed ...just sayin. Counties who show high percentages of positives get shut down.

We are currently one of the most open.

I will go through the trouble of looking up an article that I came across a week or so ago if you are willing to put a very large wager on it to make it worth my time.

How about 1000 dollars?

That was an exceptionally weak factcheck... If they really wanted to fact check, they should have sent in their own blank samples to see what happened. Considering many places have reported discrepancies, there is no way this fact-check is entirely accurate.

I was curious and this was all that popped up. I don’t believe anyone anymore, lol. We need a fact-checker for fact-checkers, but I wouldn’t trust that either.

That concept came up in the movie Enemy of the State. You need a watcher to watch the watchers, but who is going to watch them?

Fake ass news.

If your health dept actually cares about keeping businesses open, then they are the only one in the country that does so.

He’s correct though.
Well I had 3 friends that went to get tested because one of their co-workers tested positive.. While standing in line to get tested they filled out the paperwork.. The wait once they got there was said to be at least an hour.. an hour and a half later the line had moved maybe half way so they just turned in the paperwork and said they would come back later in the week.. 3 days later they were called and were told they were all positive for Covid.. They told them they were not even tested yet and all they did was turn in the paperwork to come back at a later time.. What an Absolute Joke.. They finally got tested somewhere else and were all negative..
