Ive seen this mentioned a couple of places but here is one

What do you guys think?
I wouldn't do that if I were the Warriors, or the Grizzlies
Somehow, even with a young, athletic running team, Jonas just fits in perfectly. I don't think I'd do it either.
Id take it, I like James and I think he has alot to offer and if you put him with JJJ and Brandon Clarke that's a team that could be one of the best defensive teams in the league. And just think every player on the starting line up would be under 25 years old including DB
Do we really want a quitter on the Grizz?

The thinking is it could put the Warriors over the top.

JW is going to take a couple years like JJJ which means Golden State will be behind both LA teams, and maybe others in the west. Gotta make hay while the sun shines so to speak.

GSW have a 17 million trade exception that fits Jonas perfectly.

I love Jonas but I believe it could be a good move for us. We are going to be in a dogfight the next two years for the #8 spot in the west, may as well go young. Jonas does struggle a bit in PnR defense.

Its a risky move, I wouldn't do it without Ja and JJJ being on board but James, barring injury is going to be a great NBA player.

I had just seen this trade mentioned on several different sites and I get why GSW would pull the trigger and why it makes sense.

We are talking about a future 7 or 8 year run here, if Wiseman pans out maybe more with our young corp. We likely only get to keep Jonas two more years anyway. We can pay our draft picks, but it's going to be tough to keep Jonas, esp at the value we are getting now.

Its really unfair to reduce Wiseman to being a quitter after all the mess that went on. He is a terrific, possibly generational talent.
I wouldn't do it if I was either team. It's like people seem to forget that the Warriors, with Steph, Klay, and Draymond, were really really really good before KD joined.
If all three are healthy they are title contenders easily and one of the top 3 teams in the west.

I don't do it if I'm the Grizzlies because if the Warriors pick is the first pick it's going to require more than just JV in a trade. If I'm the Grizz I ride with what they got

Besides his skill set his mobility is off the charts

Meh....only seen him against high school talent. I wouldn’t take him in the lottery.

He is in his feelings.

This guy throws Brandon Clarke in. No thank you to that.

The warriors will be over the top with James Wiseman. They won't trade unless it they fall out of the top 2 picks
Any person that says that they are a Grizz fan and would not take that trade does not know anything about basketball or the NBA, and I LOVE JV

NO Way the Warriors even consider that deal .
If Golden State falls to #3-5 I think a Memphis trade for Jonas may be a real possiblity.

#1 and #2 are likely Edwards and Ball.

Golden State had had a zoom meeting with Wiseman but they don't seem to be in love with him.

The Warriors are in the win now mode and need another defensive presence as Wiggins defense is sub par.

If they want to win now:

Seth
Wiggins
Klay
Draymond
Val ( over Wiseman)

Val isn’t a defensive presence

Right. The Grizz are already young and would give up JV in a heartbeat for James Wiseman. The team would be insane with Ja, JJJ, and James Wiseman as a core.
