Quote:PORTLAND, Ore. — Protesters lit fires and looted and damaged businesses in North Portland early Friday morning, Portland Police Bureau said.

According to police, protesters first met at Fernhill Park Thursday evening before marching to the bureau's North Precinct at Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Northeast Emerson Street.

At around 10 p.m., police said several hundred people had gathered outside the precinct. The demonstrators arrived with supplies and began erecting a fence that stretched from the south side of the North Precinct to the north side of the Boys and Girls Club. While building the fence, police said the demonstrators blocked northbound traffic on Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

While this was happening, police said demonstrators began throwing items at officers, including glass bottles.

By 11 p.m., police said the demonstrators were moving dumpsters and other barriers around the precinct. Some began ramming dumpsters into garage doors on the west side of the North Precinct to try and get inside the building, police said. When they couldn't get the garage doors open, police said the demonstrators began barricading exit doors so officers and people in custody inside the building could not get out.

At 12 a.m., police said a demonstrator in the crowd began yelling over a bullhorn that they were "going to burn the building down."

Demonstrators threw fireworks at officers over the barricade they had built on Northeast Emerson Street.

By 1 a.m., there were still several hundred demonstrators surrounding the North Precinct. Police declared an unlawful assembly using their sound truck and told the crowd to leave the area immediately or they would be subject to arrest.

About 20 minutes later, officers said they began breaking up the crowd. Some people tried fighting with officers. Police said some demonstrators shot officers with paintball rounds, causing officers to not be able to see out of their face shields.

Police said someone launched a mortar onto the roof of the North Precinct building at 1:40 a.m. and at that point, officers began using crowd control munitions.

At around 2:15 a.m., demonstrators had set the north side of the North Precinct on fire. Police said they used CS gas to disperse the crowd in an effort to protect the lives and safety of police personnel and inmates inside the precinct.

Police said some demonstrators picked up the canisters of CS gas and threw them back at police.

At around 3 a.m., police said the demonstrators looted least one business and set fire to others in the area. Several business windows were broken and property was set on fire. By 3:30 a.m., most of the crowd had dispersed.

Several officers suffered minor injuries. One was taken to the hospital with a more serious injury, but all officers are expected to recover.

Officers said they made four arrests. The suspects face charges for assaults or attempted assaults on police officers.

Police said this demonstration was more aggressive and violent than those in past weeks.

Antifa animal scum will continue to burn, loot, and destroy until power is projected to stop them. They will not, and likely cannot, respond to reason. If they want to become martyrs for their cause, I say we should give them every opportunity.

Make an announcement that from now on rioting and vandalism will be met with force by law enforcement and after the first few idiots get taken out in bags it’ll all be over.

It won’t be over until Trump is gone. These liberal havens are using this lawlessness to paint Trump as an ineffective president. It is evil what they are doing. I’m not sure what the answer is but maybe it looks like just let them chit where they eat. They will elect the same people all over again and be some of those 3 million more votes that Senile Sloe will get.

It might actually change some voters in Oregon into Trump supporters. States like this are sitting ducks for violence because they are run by liberals. People should start realizing that they voted for appeasers not leaders.
