I would argue that CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and Fox have done more to promote violence with their non-stop coverage than anyone.

"...Google's ban of the websites comes after the company was notified of research conducted by the Center for Countering Digital Hate, a British nonprofit that combats online hate and misinformation. They found that 10 U.S-based websites have published what they say are racist articles about the protests, and projected that the websites would make millions of dollars through Google Ads.

Google blocked The Federalist from its advertising platform after the NBC News Verification Unit brought the project to its attention. ZeroHedge had already been demonetized prior to NBC News’ enquiry, Google said. ZeroHedge and The Federalist did not respond to requests for comment...."
Corporate Censorship, what could go wrong?
Tries? Sounds like they very much already 'did'.

NBC News (a competitor of the Federalist) brought this to google's attention. How is that not tortuous interference?

Where are you "free market conservatives" on this?
Republicans are mostly cowards.
Zerohedge is Russian propaganda.

Not sure what the issue is with The Federalist.

I sh*t you not. The Center against Hate or whatever is a group of British Muslim activist pushing Islam at the expense of free speech.

Time to break up another monopoly?
Apparently it was NBC trying to cancel the Federalist. Sounds like grounds for a lawsuit. Google was all over the place with their statements.

https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/nb...-insanity/

"...Here, it would appear, is the piece in question, written by John Daniel Davidson. Not one word of it is racist.

As it turns out, a Google spokesperson told Ad Week that NBC News got the story wrong, and that Google only notified the Federalist they “could” be demonetized, and that it was the site’s comments section that was in violation. Then Google told Ad Week that the site would be demonetized, but that the Federalist could rectify the situation. Both comments contradict the initial statement made by the Google spokesperson, not to mention the entire NBC story.

Whatever the case, it’s clear now that NBC News was trying to have the Federalist demonetized. Unequipped to offer a compelling case on her own, Adele-Momoko Fraser appealed to authority by pointing to the alleged expertise of a previously unknown British group calling itself the “Center for Countering Digital Hate.” A quick scan of the site will illustrate that the group relies on unsubstantiated Internet trolling as a basis for its “reports.” It looks as if the site is manned by one person, named Imran Ahmed, who seems to believe that Microsoft and Ford are also part of the white-supremacist conspiracy. It’s embarrassing that NBC News would rely on information given by such a transparently ideological and amateurish organization to censor anyone...."

Have any of you wondered why everything is blamed on the Russians? The answer is really quite simple. The Chinese Communists are afraid of any U.S./Russia progress for fear that the two together might put the brakes on Chinese expansion both geopolitically and economically. Every time I hear "Russia Collusion" I see the face holding the lips that utter that phase as a Chinese Communist dupe.

Russia has become the false target to keep eyes off of China, and the narrative a strategy of the Chinese to try to prevent Russian / U.S. cooperation, which right now may be needed to resolve economic instability in Europe.

Plainly and simply, we are in Cold War II, and the enemy is China, not Russia. We could actually do well to triangulate Russia against China. Khrushchev's, "we will bury you," may come at the hands of China, not Russia.

But China has great weaknesses. Put the proper pressure on them and they will fold. There are basically three groups who don't like each other--the warlike northerners around Beijing, the commercial interests in the Yangtze Valley, and the southerners around Hong Kong who are more interested in international relationships than internal. Add dissident Tibet and the Muslims in the west. Keeping it all together is a major challenge. Their plan so far has been to export a lot of cheap goods and use the profits to fund make-work projects that make no economic sense except to keep the populace too busy to revolt. And their whole economy is dependent on an oil supply chain that comes by sea from the Mideast, and that they have no ability to protect in a crisis.

All we have to do is put a bit of pressure on them, and it all falls apart. But as long as we are fighting endless and winless wars in the Middle East, and screaming, "Russia, Russia, Russia," they can move along relatively unimpeded. Talk about, "The 1980s called and they want their foreign policy back."

"Federalist Co-founder and Publisher Ben Domenech warned Wednesday that NBC News’ recent attempt to demonetize the publication on Google is just a preview of what is to come in the 21st century woke revolution...."

And the site is thefederalist.com

I'm thinking NBC may join CNN and NYT on my don't click list.
