Also it’s worth noting that there isn’t a clause in Will Wade’s contract that he can be fired immediately with cause if the NCAA levies serious infractions. This one might not be over, we’ll see. I for one hope LSU gets hammered by the NCAA.

There is a small part of me that is glad Brannen is no longer the coach just because it triggered me that a portion of the fan base kept referring to him as Brennan.
Henry Coleman a 4 star frosh forward from Duke entered the portal. We offered him out of high school I believe and he's from Virginia. My guess is WM is familiar with him. Also a pretty fair 4 out of Md. Jairus Hamilton is in the portal. Workman like guy but has a lot of experience and is from Charlotte.

Long, highly active wing...but absolutely cannot "hit the three" as he is a career 29.5% 3 point shooter. Seems to be a secondary option with good length and high defensive upside...the kind of guy you want in your starting lineup to support the stars.
He kind of seems like a more defensively inclined version of Keith Williams actually...probably a very decent comp. Good pickup for sure, especially with two years of eligibility left, and allows for JD to move down the lineup to a stretch 4/hybrid forward option...we need a 5/post presence like nobody's business now though.

YEP, now coach Wes knows what he needs to bring in from the Transfer portal and recruit the needs. At least we won't have the distraction of Tari's mom whining on the social media pages. Best of luck to him. Hopes he works hard, improves a lot and helps beat the UK Wildcats.

It's bound to happen, especially with everyone having 5 years of eligibility right now. I've spent some time combing through the portal out of curiosity, and it is littered with upperclassmen who were bench players at low-major schools. Do these guys all think they are going to get on scholarship at a new school after averaging 3 points per game in the Summit? A lot of these kids are making really poor decisions, sadly. Those types of players should be staying put and finishing their free education. Instead, some of them are going to end up without a home, off scholarship, and a couple semesters short of graduation with limited or no pro basketball prospects.
