Floyd was on serious drugs which contributed to his death is one of the ME findings.
But there is another accomplished ME who said it didn't contribute so...........

I am an accountant by trade..... Do you know what our mantra is....

Q: What does 1 + 1 equal?
A: Whatever you want me to make it equal.
doesn't really matter. 8 and half minutes of a misplaced knee on the neck is still murder 3 in most places, and definitely manslaughter everywhere. Rioting is wrong, looting is wrong, protesting is a right.

No doubt this police officer and the other officers with him have a lot to answer for in court.

Knee wasn’t “misplaced”. Something set this cop off. I find it hard to believe he left for work that morning with the plan to kill some nice black man who was just minding his business. All the same he more than likely caused his death. Remember he said as he was being killed “OK officer I’ll get in the car now”. Unfortunately for some reason this cop felt it was to late for that.

The guy had a history of being "set off". He shouldn't have been a cop anymore. Folks that hired him need to answer for him not being in a new career before this happened.
Is no one else suspicious about the fact that Floyd and the cop had worked together?

I've heard this but haven't seen anything concrete yet. If true, it deserves to be fully investigated. If this was a "crime of passion" and not racial then .......

I'm not. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't know each other. I think Floyd worked security for one set of events and the cop worked a separate set of events. Maybe I'm wrong but that is what I heard somewhere.

The officer clearly had a history of scrapes, reportedly 18 in his career. He murdered Floyd, IMO. I don't care about the underlying health conditions or even the drugs, he killed the guy.
