Yes there are more issues besides race, if you haven't seen the video of the police killing Daniel Shaver then go watch that, it'll make your stomach turn... But it's nuts to think racism isn't a problem in police brutality. George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, Philando Castile, Walter Scott, Alton Sterling, Terence Crutcher, Freddie Gray just to name a handful... You're telling me you don't think any of them would still be alive if they were all white? I bet most of them would, if not all of them.

The most egregious case of police brutality I know of involved an Hispanic cop and a white, mentally ill and homeless man. His name was Kelly Thomas. I don't think you can prove a case of racism against the cop, but it is certainly murder, and I believe in the first degree.

Thomas was "suspected" of peeking into the windows of parked cars. I wasn't aware that that is a crime in any state of our beloved union. The officer confronted Thomas and forced him to sit on a curb, then rifled through his backpack. Finding nothing, he slowly donned surgical gloves and asked Thomas, "You see my fists? They're getting ready to f**k you up!"

The officer, Ramos, then proceeded to beat Thomas badly, who, fighting for his life, was told to "stop resisting," a phrase that you sometimes hear bad cops use when they want to mete out more punishment. Ramos called for help. Five more officers arrived to assist in "subduing" Kelly. They beat him to death while he was screaming in pain, begging for his life, saying he was sorry, and most heartbreaking of all, screaming for his dad: "Dad, help me! They're killing me, Dad!" Most of us here are fathers. How would you like to see video of your son being beaten to death while pleading for you to help him?

I am not posting this to gross anyone out. Warning: The video below is disturbing. I am posting it to prove that not only black people are the victims of police brutality. In fact, most victims of police brutality are white. But, don't let facts get in your way as you deepen the racial divide by imagining racism where there is none apparent (speaking of the Floyd case only right now). And, if you would like to see lots more videos of police brutality against white victims, look them up. There are tons. There are also tons of videos of police brutality against blacks. I imagine you can find many instances of police brutality against other races, as well. Most cases of police brutality are not racist incidents, just bad cops getting off on beating someone.

I am not going to post the video, only the link. There are many other cases....

Thanks. You convinced everyone that systemic racism isn’t a problem. Mission accomplished.

That gushing sound you hear is my point sailing well over your head.

Nah, I caught it. Just figured you should know how it changed the way I think.

To be honest, a lot of the facts you choose to share absolutely do make you sound racist.
I was listening to Larry Elder yesterday, and he was explaining and describing in detail how there is no systemic racism in America. But, I'm sure you know much better than he does.

Larry is black, by the way.

And, I admire and respect Larry very much, as I do Ben Carson, David J. Harris, Candace Owen, Deneen Borelli (a personal friend), Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Herman Cain, Condoleezza Rice, et al, also all black.

I'm also married to a Mexican. Our four children's (you know, we racists tend to breed like rabbits) predominate ethnicity is Hispanic.

But, sure, Hyper, I'm a racist. Whatever you say.
You don’t need to convince me. You already did earlier. I thought I posted it.

We all know how math works. White people make up the majority of America. The total will, of course, be higher. The per capita statistics, of course, are far more relevant.

Quote: In 2019 data of all police killings in the country compiled by Mapping Police Violence, black Americans were nearly three times more likely to die from police than white Americans. Other statistics showed that black Americans were nearly one-and-a-half times more likely to be unarmed before their death.

This is literally the mathematical definition of racial inequality.
Stop dude. This is a settled matter. Larry said so.

YOU sound like the racist! How can you possibly denigrate a black person? You're a racist!

From the FBI....

You must also factor in the proportionate incidence of crime per ethnicity.... the truth
I am absolutely done with this nonsense. Back to Duuuuuuukes sports for me.
You're picking a handful of black people who disagree with the vast majority and holding them up as a "see, this person says racism isn't real AND HE'S BLACK!"

Ooh, colors! Hey, buddy, you see the size of the green in the first one? You see how the size of the rest of the green ones are bigger than the first one? That’s called a disproportional response. It indicates systemic racism.

The kicker is that he literally used the “I have a black friend, so how can I possibly be racist?” angle.

You must have missed this.... "You must also factor in the proportionate incidence of crime per ethnicity."

Watch the Candace Owens video, above. She explains so much better than I do. Go to the 12:00 mark.

I missed nothing. Every single instance of police killing in the graph you presented is 2.4 times or more disproportionate to overall African-American population. There is no qualification. There is no condition. Those. Are. The. Numbers.
