You make a great point. But we should go bigger than the hogs. Play one of the big boys. We can beat Arkansas under any conditions, we don't necessarily need to start the series early.

this year if anyone has a hole in their schedule due to covid19 shutdowns we need to be be strategic about it.

Lets not play Bama on short notice but Oklahoma would be perfect if they have a cancellation.

Agreed, even get a shot to play Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan State, or even Illinois. I think that'll be interesting. ACC would be Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, Louisville, Boston College, Virginia and Pitt.
Big 12 would be Kansas State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, West Virginia.

If we want a home game---we better play a game in MEMPHIS first---otherwise we will never get the return game.

Purdue won't be easy. Brohm is a good coach (it was his Western Kentucky team than buried Memphis in the Boca Raton Bowl) and Purdue has Rondale Moore. He is going to give the secondary fits unless the Tigers can rush the QB (and stop the run).
Memphis can beat them but it will be a tough game.

Our recruiting is improving but Penn State proved our defense needs more guys in the trenches for the big games.
