6 QBs From The 2015 Recruiting Class Were 1st Round Draft Picks

Quote:The 2015 football recruiting class could go down as one of the best ever for quarterbacks. The class produced a trio of Heisman winners, five top 10 picks, back-to-back No. 1 picks in the NFL Draft, and an NFL MVP.

Joe Burrow is the latest quarterback in that class to break into the impressive group. He’s joined by fellow to pick Kyler Murray, a trio of other top 10 guys in Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, and Josh Rosen, and of course, Lamar Jackson, last year’s Most Valuable Player. Jackson was the last pick of the first round in the 2018 NFL Draft.

...

The top 10 from the 2015 class is pretty fascinating. Josh Rosen is the No. 1 player, followed by Blake Barnett, who started ahead of Jalen Hurts for a game at Alabama before losing the job. He transferred to Arizona State, and then finished his career at USF. Kyler Murray was No. 3. They’re the only 247 composite five-stars in the group.

4. Jarrett Stidham – Baylor, transferred to Auburn. Projected to start for the New England Patriots.
5. Brandon Wimbush – Notre Dame, transferred to UCF.
6. Deondre Francois – Florida State, dismissed in 2019.
7. Brady White – Arizona State, transferred to Memphis.
8. Jake Browning – Washington. Now on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad.
9. Ricky Town – USC, transferred to Pitt.
10. Drew Lock – Missouri. Now the starter for the Denver Broncos.

As of now I think White goes no later than the 3rd round. Do you think he can play his way up to the 1st round?

I doubt it but it remains to see how players develop during this Covid hiatus. I do think he makes a NFL roster
I think he is way too old to be a 1st round pick or even a pick at all.

that doesn't matter that much in the NFL, unlike the NBA

in fact, that could be an advantage
Can't see him as an NFL quarterback. Hope I'm wrong.

I feel the same, never even imagined him as an NFL qb. But if he matches or exceeds last years numbers he will def get some looks.
PUT ADAIR IN!
smh, O ye of little imaginations.
Brady has developed a lot in his time at Memphis. If we get a full season of football played, and if he can replicate his performance from last year, then I think he will be in the discussion. If he can take a step up in play this year, I could see him playing his way into a desirable NFL contract.
If Reily Ferguson can't get drafted, then I would not be shocked at all if Brady is not drafted either.

We aint talking about a running back...

QB's can be old...

White seems to really understand the game...Not sure about his leadership abilities but if he is good there I see him being a very good coach.

Not to say he doesn't have a shot...But his physical tools don't scream NFL contributor.
I think Brady White will have his best year. I'm more concerned about the defense.
Brady White will end up being the best QB in Memphis football history. Don't let fact that he doesn't have a cannon arm like Lynch and Ferguson fool y'all. He makes throws where only his receivers can catch and pretty accurate. If he shows that he can look off more than one receiver then he will be drafted.
Two sources tell me if Brady can get a little more air under the ball he'll be in the NFL
He can read defenses and someone said earlier he places the ball where only his receivers can catch it,
A must in the NFL
IKE'expects to see the Dude on Sundays, no later than round 4, per source
Redskins?
He needs both feet and legs to be totally even and in sync to get more air.
Absolutely doable, I should add. lol
He is the BOBBY PARKS of MEMPHIS TIGER football.
H. Terror
A source told me the Redskins r interested in Brady but, gotta get a little deeper
They would like to have a Dude to prep in case Haskins struggles or injured, Brady is on their radar.
Hopefully Antonio gives them a heads up
I doubted BW before, not this time. He’ll make a roster somewhere
