Standout RB Anthony Tyus III (6-1, 205) of Portage (Mich.) Northern High School announced today via Twitter his top seven schools he's considering.

A consensus 3-star recruit rated among the top 20 players in the state of Michigan's 2021 class, Tyus reports 15 scholarship offers. The schools he named as his top seven are Central Michigan, Northwestern, Indiana, Iowa State, Cincinnati, Bowling Green and Western Michigan.

A CMU legacy, Tyus is the son of Anthony Tyus, a former standout linebacker for the Chippewas. The younger Tyus didn't indicate a timeline on when he'll make a final decision on where he'll play at the next level.

FIRE UP CHIPS! :)
Alan crystal ball has him going to CMU. Amazing what the CC building and coach Mac has done. We now will have one of the best venues in the MAC with one of the most duccessful programs since we joined in the 70s. Really hope we can hang on to MAC for a couple yrs and take this program to another level.
Actually, Allen thinks he'll commit to Northwestern, but he told me it's just an educated guess on his (Allen's) part and not a done deal.

We'll see!

FIRE UP CHIPS! :)
Ok thanks, boooooo
He is supposed to make his decision on Thursday, do you think we will see smoke?
Announcement coming at 3 p.m. tomorrow. Highly unlikely you'll see any smoke between now and then, even if CMU is the choice.

He's keeping his cards close, but most think he'll announce for Northwestern. No question, he would be a huge addition to the CMU program.

We'll see!

FIRE UP CHIPS! :)
