Deandre Williams looks legit. He says he wants to be a point forward and help create. Can't think of a better mentor to do that than Penny.

Game is similar to a Keevon Davenport albeit with an actual motor.....In the NBA/G-league/AAC/SEC/ACC/Overseas or where he lands, his lack of physicality will be an issue....I don't know the extent of his back injury or his degree of toughness (pain tolerance), none-the-less, it seems to me that he would fair better as a stretch 4, I actually see similar potential in Lance Thomas....key word being potential TIFWIT 07-coffee3
I really like his game. He plays slow but not in a bad way. He plays very methodical and under control.

I think all 3 are sit out transfers. Chances are 2 of the 3 never suit up even if they commit
We don’t need Perez.

So why did we offer him ??

Because, after letting all the others that we should have been focusing on, sign with other programs ---while we were spending all our time and effort on the ( Greens/Browns) of the world------maybe we now are forced to offer/look elsewhere . IDK

Not sure we offered. I heard he was begging Memphis to let him commit.

I don't think we have offered yet.
We could definitely use Williams for sure.

Of all of our bigs NONE are proven scorers.
Based on the news recently it seems like he is likely headed to Kentucky. This is guy I wanted the most as far as transfers.

John Martin just tweeted that Williams will announce Friday according to his former coach.
