Great to see these six are in the fold for next year. No word on Ra'Heim Moss?
Lot of transfers. Would love to see a roster to figure out where they slot. I assume somebody smarter than me will take that on

With the exception of Alderson (who is going down a level) I have not seen where any of the other UT guys who left the program signed with a another college. Does anyone have any insight about where the guys are going?
Moss’ Twitter account still states “UT commit”. Grades? Perhaps another issue?

I doubt he signs elsewhere. He may still attend UT.

I like Rollins and Hill the most in this class. I would flip them with Hill at the PG (love his quickness) and Rollins (who looks taller) at 2G.

I have no idea what that means but i hope it means he's coming to UT
Perhaps, Moss has some academic work to complete to insure his eligibility. There were some academic questions with him in the past, and part of his move to prep school was to get on top of that. seems like he still wants to be at UT. good talent, not sure how much he'd play next year but a great athlete for sure.

Looking at the class with a little reflection and reading into TK's comments on the signees, I'd say there was more of a focus on building a team for next season. by that i mean filling in some weaknesses, balancing out positions, making sure we can absorb an injury or illness. the main things this class adds is defense, maturity and athleticism. Komagum is 22. Milner is a 3rd year guy with a year of D1 experience. Shumate 3rd year with 2 years od D2 experience. Jones is a 3rd year guy. So, while there is a lot of new blood. these are mostly guys who've been around.

I also see some role players here, in a positive way. Millner, Komagum, Jones all are talented guys who were not the guy at their JUCO. 2nd, 3rd option types, guys who get out in transition and finish, guys who defend and rebound. The defensive depth should be better. The athleticism is gonna help in a couple ways. With AJ back, Maranka improving and Komagum in the mix we'll have a lot of rim protection. That will allow the perimeter guys to extend more and take more risks, apply more pressure. If they get beat there are long athletic bigs who can help.

Coach K likes an 8 or 9 man rotation. So, a couple guys are gonna sit. Shumate will RS. I'd expect Hill to RS unless he's too good to sit out or Marreon doesn't return. Rollins will play according to coach. He's good and can get buckets. Jones and Millner are gonna battle for bench minutes. I think Millner is going to carve out a leadership role. Watching tape on him he is very alert, vocal and fundamentally sound on defense. One of those guys who is gonna lock in. We really suffered at times with Alderson who had a tendency to lose focus and give up big plays. Millner has similar size and skills but more confidence and awareness on the court. And Acunzo remains a question mark. If he's healthy that will make playing time more competitive but will give us another guy who is a good 3 tool threat with the ball-shoot, pass, dribble drive. We relied a lot on Marreon to make plays when the offense wasn't flowing this year. Need a couple guys to step up and be playmakers, even if they don't score a ton.

This roster seems to be built more along the lines of how a bunch of MAC East teams have been building over the years, trending toward jucos with age, athleticism, experience and 'an edge' ... the key seems to be having a veteran core piece (Marreon) capable of leading/blending it all together.

Traditionally, these are the kinds of teams opponents don't want to play, even if they have more talent. The trick (like Buffalo recently) is to have both talent and edge. Granted, those kind of teams will take nights off ... but rarely when it really counts!

My opinion, that's why most MAC East teams (Akron, UB, Kent, OU) collectively are so tough to play game-after-game. They have an edge to them. Most night's those teams aren't better than MAC WEst teams, ... they're just tougher.
We have definitely upgraded the “athletic” makeup and versatility of our roster with the 6 players we’ve signed. I agree with the previous posts on how this team potentially looks a lot like how Kent State, Buffalo and Akron have been built over the years, i.e. a lot of 6-3, 6-4, & 6-5 guys who are athletes and have attitudes to go along with it! With 6 (possibly 7) new players combined with 2 players coming off injuries (Edu & Acunzo), the challenge now is how the coaching staff is going to be able to build this team on and off the court during the offseason under these uncertain times! One last observation, I am really excited to see the development of Jemere Hill over the next 4-5 years as I think he is a “late bloomer” who has the “potential” to be a special player down the road for Toledo. A "future" backcourt of Hill and Ryan Rollins is very intriguing!
Ra’Heim Moss has officially signed his NLI today! He is also a well sought after football recruit with offers from Kentucky, Cincy, etc....

Here’s his 247sports football recruiting page: https://247sports.com/player/raheim-moss-46051078/

This is a huge incoming class.
Great news!
Excellent!!!04-cheers
Returning players: M. Jackson (hopefully), Littleson, Maranka, K Saunders (4)
Guys injured last year: Edu, Acunzo (2)
New guy expected to redshirt: Shumate (1)
New guy who will likely start: Rollins (1)
New guys who want playing time: Moss, Hill, Komagum, Millner, Jones (5)

Not as worried about BB as FB.

He's very athletic and loves to play tough defense!
The NCAA announced today that they are waiving test scores for incoming freshman. I wonder if that was the holdup for him signing his LOI.
