On a couple of separate notes, first of all, I had no idea SMU would be at the top of the AAC. I also had no idea Georgia Tech's official name is apparently actually Georgia Institute of Technology, not Georgia Tech University.
Then you will be shocked that Virginia Tech, is really Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. You need two diplomas for that mouthful!

Louisiana Tech is actually Louisiana Tech, lol. It used to be Louisiana Polytechnic Institute but has always been called Louisiana Tech. That is unless you were a fan of another team, then you probably are 100 years old and call us LA Poly. Auburn was formally known as Alabama Polytechnic Institute until around 1960.
