just for NYC/SoCal....yeah, another Zappa relic....

from the field, if not....

It depends on the time of the day:

Mornings:

Bachman Turner Overdrive: Taking Care of Business

Mid Morning:

Bangles: Manic Monday

Noon:

Nazareth: Hair of the Dog (Now your messin with a son of a biatch.)

Mid Afternoon:

Hank Williams: I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry

Evening:

Otis Redding: Sitting on the Dock of the Bay

Mid Evening:

Hank Williams: If You Got the Money Honey, I've Got the Time

Late Evening:

Patsy Cline: I Go Out Walking, After Midnight
Gotta keep it going.

"Seasons in the Abyss" by Slayer. All day, every day. Because Slayer.

Granted, the video takes place in Egypt, but it fits the situation we're in right now. Anybody who says otherwise is just plain wrong. Since this is supposed to be the apocalypse, Slayer should be the soundtrack.

One unintended side effect of the situation for older Americans:

For old fogeys like me who mostly get their music from old fashioned FM on their car radio (instead of their downloaded songs on their phone), songs stick in your head longer since you aren't driving much.

For me for the last week and a half, its been the Partridge Family. David Cassiday singing, "I think I love you." After a week and half, I think I like the song. Unless you are my age or a little older, you probably have no idea who the Partridge Family are or have heard the song. I don't even remember where or how the song got in my head.

But if any of you want to risk it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bb4FMn-IWEY

Was supposed to see Sebastian Bach in a few weeks in the Burg at Brewskys on May 2nd. Postponed and not rescheduled. Guess I'll have to go to Pensacola.

For me Bullet that song is only appropriate when I'm thinking of Susan Dey.
