Central Michigan received its first verbal commitment (LB Diego Neri) last week for its 2021 class.

The Chippewas will look to add 3-4 offensive linemen in this class, including two or three offensive tackles. CMU currently has more than 20 scholarship offers out to offensive tackles, although some of those prospects have already committed elsewhere.

Among those who've been offered by the Chippewas, three to keep an eye on are:

1) OT Calvin Muraski (6-8, 260) of Green Bay (Wisc.) Bay Port HS - A high school teammate at Bay Port with class of 2020 CMU signee, Braden Doyle, Muraski received his first scholarship offer from the Chippewas on Feb. 3. He has since been offered by Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Buffalo, San Jose State, Air Force, North Dakota, Dartmouth, Columbia, Harvard, Yale and Princeton. Muraski visited CMU for junior day and has high interest in the program, where he could once again play alongside Doyle.

2) OT Zen Michalski (6-6, 265) of Floyds Knobs (Ind.) Floyd Central HS - The Chippewas offered Michalski on Feb. 22, his first FBS offer. Since then he's received offers from Bowling Green, Toledo, EMU, Ball State, WMU, Cincinnati, Boston College and Kansas State. Michalski wants to schedule a visit to CMU and it's hopeful he can get up to campus this summer. Recruiting is really starting to ramp up for Michalski and no doubt he's going to receive more P-5 interest, including likely offers from Indiana and Louisville, which are in close proximity to his hometown.

3) OT Carter DeGraaf (6-6, 290) of Hudsonville (Mich.) HS - DeGraaf has roots in Indiana and the Hoosiers are recruiting him, but his current offers are from CMU, WMU, Army and Illinois State. The Chippewas were first to offer DeGraaf, doing so on Nov. 19 of last year. He also visited CMU for the key MAC West Division win over Toledo on Nov. 29.
