Yikes. This isn’t good. Burton was good. Going to war with Etienne and Sherfield does not seem like a recipe for success.

all 3 they lost were good... but i do like etienne and sherfield....
etienne reminds me of younger corey davis, sherfield reminds of a younger rob gray...sherfield has some maturing to do with..but once those 2 figure things out, watch out
next year will not be lock for tourney though unless the frehsman they got ends up really food

They’re not a top 75 team next season. Burton and Dennis were the only guys I worried about against our length. Now, one is gone. And wouldn’t be shocked to see Dennis leave now. Weren’t him and Stevenson pretty close?

Lose Echinique as well. Yeah they won’t be good next year.

Wow. This is not a great way to follow up the good news of a #1 seed in the hypothetical NIT.
03-13-2020, 04:33 PM
WTF is going on?
03-13-2020, 04:36 PM
Well. Houston, Memphis, Cincy, USF, and Tulsa are going to have to carry the conference next year. Wichita is already imploding. SMU isn’t too far behind.
03-13-2020, 04:36 PM
Transfers will impact nearly every school, I predict.

they are still a bubble team next year even with those 3 leaving.. etienne will be a top 3 shooter in the conference next year, sherfield will be an elite scorer once he settles down ...dexter dennis is good..they have a 4star coming in
if everyone had returned theyd have been a top 15-20 type team...i think their loses bring them back down to where they were this year...the reason the implosion is happening is because none of the guards except dexter separated themselves and kept benching them, (marshall didnt seem much of difference in those 6 guards, and didnt stand behind any beyond dexter)..you dont need 8 guards to be great ...

From the outside looking in this stinks of player coach animosities.

I agree. I had them as a top 25 team. But I think Burton is a HUGE loss.

Wow usually AAC teams implode during the season. Must be a Missouri Valley thing.

It would be tough to fill that many open schollies in a normal, non-pandemic off-season...

wichita was so young and deep that losing 4 players in day seems horrid but they are still fine
starting guards-
- dexter dennis- could be all conference caliber next year
- tyson etienne- will be a top 3 shooter in the conference
- sherfield- 8pts 3ast as a true freshman
bench: 4star jadun michael, (will definitely pick up a juco/transfer)
starting bigs
- trey wade- started this season
- 1 of (midtgaard, udeze or pooh bear)-all of which are decent or better
bench- 2 not picked from above..(will pick up a juco/transfer power forward)
this isnt a bad rotation by any means, the bench is just shorter, and you are going to need your current freshman to step up
