UTRGV played a day game... beating UT Permian Basin 93-80. Not too big a margin or much defense. Must be looking past UTPB toward the NMSU game. 03-wink Actually, UTRGV had built over a 30 point lead but only scored 3 points over the final 5:36 of the game.
Gonna cut some nets down on Saturday Pistol. Another WAC regular season championship!

No, no excuses. Tarleton beat Permian Basin 80-58. We're just slipping. It's who we are.

Don't risk reinjuring your newly healthy NMSU athletes with too much practice, or make them tired looking at game videos. There's no need.

For sure someone's winning streak will come to an end.

Well put. May the winning team win the WAC Tournament.
Sounds like another big crowd for Saturday. Gonna win by 15 at least.
With GCU's loss to Seattle U. tonight, NMSU clinches the #1 seed in the WAC Tournament.
With NMSU's win over UTRGV, the Aggies have clinched the WAC Regular Season Championship. And, they are now automatically invited to the NIT; that's if NMSU somehow falls short in the WAC Tournament. But we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

Now the question is, can NMSU go undefeated in the WAC? The Aggies sit at a perfect 13-0 currently. On a side note, with tonight's UTRGV game attendance (11,680), NMSU now leads the conference in attendance (in WAC games only) with 7,134 per game. Overall, NMSU is second (6,463) to GCU (6,950).
Last home game for NMSU is against CBU and it is senior night. I wonder if NMSU can draw a good crowd organically. Organically meaning with out a Pack the PanAm promotion.

I hope everyone had a great time, and want to come back for the last home game of the regular season.

GO AGGIES!!!
Too depressed after Saturday to post until now. Thought it would at least be close.

Congratulations NMSU. Regular season title, 1st seed so only two serious games between you and the NCAA Tournament, 16-0 looking like an even or better chance.
