NIU 7-14 overall 3-7 MAC hosts the Miami 11-12 overall 4-7 MAC at 6:00pm. Northern lost at Miami 66-64 the first time around on Jan 8 so being a home game and with the Huskies playing better lately certainly a winnable game. Miami has one of the better players in the league in G Lauren Dickerson ( she can be erratic at times) and solid players in Savannah Kluesner and Peyton Scott. If the Huskies can continue to cut their turnovers-keep out rebounding opponents and shoot at a decent clip they should come out on top. Keep it going Lady Huskies + good luck!
After 1 runnin’and gunnin’ Miami 24 slippin’ and sliddin’ NIU 11
At the half...Huskies make a comeback Miami 32 NIU 31
After 3 Huskies up 51-48
What a thriller! Woods wins on a short jumper with 1.6 seconds left in OT. And the Huskies make a defensive play to hold Miami w/o a shot.
Kinda like those back-to-back OT wins right after the Harvard game, except they were on the road. But another great win!

Sorry I couldn’t update in real time I was at the game and my phone locked me out and I had to wait till I got home to get it going but a good win for the Lady Huskies.

Interesting enough that they are 3-1 after updating the starting five. Great going now.

Good point. Don't see anyone yet emerging yet to be the go-to leader after Woods leaves, but the team play is encouraging with Koker, Nikitiniate, Davis and Blackwell. Best hope for this season seems to be .500 or maybe a little above/below, but considering how they were doing ...

Home v WMU on Saturday on the other side of this freeze.
