OK ... totally wild maniac speculation ... Convocation Center naming rights offer with major Chicago regional sponsor.

How's that for a stretch?

Yeah I’m guessing naming rights sponsor and it being Northwestern Medicine. That would be good but overall 03-yawn

Quick edit: second guess would be that we have officially signed ESPN Nueve to a thirty year deal extending weekday MACtion for the rest of my life

I think naming rights is a bit of a bold speculation

Naming rights won't do squat for engagement though
"Engagement' ... has STF found a Mrs. for our Mr. Huskie?

Never mind.

OK, more wild maniac speculation ... STF has found a hole in the ESPN TV contract for o-o-c games and has made a deal with major Chicago media ...

Or, Northern is "engaged" to play Northwestern home and home in football ... or DePaul in bball ... or ?

C'mon. Some help. I'm running out of wild maniac speculation over here.
My guess is that STF will be getting "NIU" tattooed to the top of his head and will be sporting a spiffy logo patch sewed onto the back of his suit. Then, every day at 9:00 a.m., he will be marching around campus to market the Huskies. In the process, he will be toning down his love affair with the mega donors and will actually be shaking the hands of common fans. Yes, this is BIG news!

To be fair, the Kent game had a pretty decent turnout

I get a little edgy whenever our illustrious AD announces one of his "bombshell" accomplishments. I let my expectations get too high. Then I'm disappointed by the "wolf" cry.

Let's hope it's something worth even mild speculation this time.

Maybe he will do another "Schedule-palooza" and have it nationally broadcast on CBSSN.

Or, maybe he will just quit. That would certainly bring many fans back.
The 2024 Notre Dame game is being played at Soldier Field......... get excited! (or the Iowa game next season)

Possibly, we are now relegated to ESPN+ and don't have to play games on weekdays, we are now playing 2:30am games on Saturday.

Pie in the sky hope: we have found a backer to finish the Stadium upgrades, we're changing conferences and Portillo's and Fatty's will be our exclusive food providers.
BYU game getting moved to the G-Spot right after the Sox win the world series
BYU game moved to Soldier Field! I hope so...

I'll bet it's that ALL of our games will be on weeknights on ESPN+ and that Athletics will get $1 for every new ESPN+ subscriber. STF will hire a cheap marketing firm and do his own commercials ("Get excited, Huskie Nation!") to promote the weeknight games. You will see STF's broad, beaming face on every TV channel. Really exciting times, Huskie Nation!!! 02-13-banana

I'd say it's pretty realistic and not a stretch at all.

Wouldn’t be surprised but it wouldn’t sell out like Iowa and Wisconsin playing there. Don’t think that would be the smartest for NIU
BYU game moved to SeatGeek Stadium. lolz
