What pisses me off more than the actual announcement is Frazier actually trying to make it sound like its exciting for fans. That's like telling Milt from office space that he has an "exciting opprtunity" to move his desk to the office basement store room.

Yea, in what world is that exciting? Sounds like we've given up on providing OOC home games except against FCS.

I was planning on bringing some family members that live in DeKalb to the BYU game with my season tickets. They aren't going to go to Bridgeview or wherever. Seriously considering not renewing my tickets, this is ridiculous.
Just awful, Frazier..... wow.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! In what world is this exciting for NIU fans? This blows, I want to see these teams in Huskie Stadium, BYU isn’t Norte Dame. ZERO reason for this game to be moved. Watch attendance be even worse

The best part is that a “home game” is not even a part of season tickets now. It’s now an additional cost on top of season tickets. What a joke.

Just wait til they move the game to Tuesday night.
Maybe Athletics can make this a real event by offering pre-game bus tours of Summit, Argo, McCook, Hodgins, Burbank, and Justice.
LOL. This is like when my company sent out a poop sandwich email that read...

In an effort to make lives better for our associates and their families, the decision has been made to retire the HMO plan from our healthcare benefits. This change has been made to enable us to remain competitive with the competition and combat against rising healthcare cost. Also, all monthly premium increases are published in the attached documents as well as increases to co-pays and releases of caps to annual RX deductibles.

Merry Christmas, from our family to yours.
Frazier is the WORST. It's as if they are trying to piss off the few remaining diehard fans. Just terrible.

Fire Frazier!
I was planning on coming up for the game, I'd rather be in DeKalb. The only reason I can think of for moving this game is to draw more alumni from the Chicago area. Seems like a desperation move.

There's an awful bar named Bridges in Justice...let's have an alumni event there

Is that really the announcement?

What is Seatgeek stadium?
It's the stadium the Chicago Fire abandoned due to it's terrible location

Oh just wow. I at least thought it was a mocking name for Guaranteed Rate Field

Lol, I also legitimately thought it was another nickname for Sox Park. You have a brandname in BYU coming to your MAC stadium on a Saturday and you move it to... an ex-soccer stadium with zero appeal in a yucky area. This blunder is an all-timer.
We should just buy Seat Geek Stadium.....it would be really cheap and this is our only chance at a new stadium
This is so ridiculous on so many levels where do I start? Maybe STF has outlived his usefulness and thinks he can get away with just about anything. Someone needs to reel him in but I don’t think our president is up to the task.
I saw a byu fan ask on Twitter if this game was moved due to stadium renovations LOL
Lisa Freeman - do something about this.
This is beginning to become absurd now. It's almost like Frazier does not want to play games in Huskie Stadium.

We gave up a home game to play Toledo at White Sox stadium. Now we're giving up a home game against one of the best non-conference opponents we've had scheduled to come to Huskie Stadium in the last 15 years. We've only had five home games for multiple seasons the past 7-10 years.

His big announcement should have been stadium/convocation naming rights, stadium renovation, what is going on with the facility master plan, or any other number of more exciting things.

Giving up a home game to play in a stadium most people have never heard of and is apparently not much larger than Huskie Stadium is not exciting.
Yikes, I don't love it. I don't see how this is even a good financial move unless the stadium is just giving us money for playing there (which I can't imagine they are)? Do we really think that BYU at this place is going to be THAT much bigger of draw than Toledo at White Sox park? It's a Saturday, so that helps, but man...giving up Saturday games in Dekalb against strong opponents? Yuck.

I doubt Huskie stadium was going to be PACKED for it, we showed that with the Utah game...but still, doesn't seem good.

And a bunch of people already renewed ST's anticipating this game. This is not the customer relations I learned inside Barsema.
Boooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
