In summary, the Mueller prosecutors decided to go with an outrageous 9 year sentence for Stone. The DOJ has stepped in and said that wont happen.

The Mueller prosecutors are already crying foul and "partisanship", and TechnoFog had tweeted that the Mueller prosecutors did this to force the DOJ to step in so they could b*tch about this on their way out of relevance.

But the DOJ is saying that the prosecutors may have lied to the DOJ on their sentencing guidelines.

In any case, the DOJ has stepped in.

Here's where Technofog is calling out what he believes the Mueller holdovers intentions are.
All of this is literally breaking as fast as I am typing. One of Muellers holdovers, Zelinsky, has resigned in protest. Just as TechnoFog predicted.

Technofog? Is that the new Jester?

Mach?
Technofog is well connected. He gets his hands on court transcripts really quickly. He knew what the Mueller team was doing on this.
More draining of the swamp as another Mueller holdover resigns.

Drain the Swamp

Good. Get em out, get em ALLLLLL out. Run the rats off the ship.

Love how the pouty faces are all skulking out with their FORMAL RESIGNATIONS!!! Like that'll really show meany-butt Trump.

Wonder if the frogmen plan to resign as well. 03-lmfao
In summary, this is what happened:

1. Team taint lied to the DOJ about what they were recommending for sentencing.
2. Team taint announces 7 to 9 years for a first time offender for "crimes" that were less than jaywalking.
3. DOJ steps in and says that the sentencing guidelines are way out of bounds
4. DOJ tells the court that the sentencing guidelines are dropped, and that the court should simply decide the sentence
5. Team taint resigns en masse in protest
6. The left clutches their pearls and begins to draw up new articles of impeachment
Will this get him impeached again?

A question from a legal novice:

Are they resigning because they fear prosecution?
Is there any proof that these prosecutors strayed from federal guidelines?

Yes, it said a source said the DOJ was surprised. I believe the feds have guidelines or maybe even a formula. This article did not address that. Also if the DOJ had that opinion before or after Trump went to Twitter

Why were they even still pulling a paycheck on this stuff?
